Originally broadcast on MTV Japan, the girls of SCANDAL visit the beautiful Sapporo during Winter! It’s the Winter festival & the host brings the girls around individually to experience the sights, including watching pros snowboard, enjoying authentic Hokkaido crabs and viewing snow sculptures, sights that can’t be seen in Tokyo. SCANDAL recently appeared on the show “M-Sata”, where they were interviewed. When asked on the secret of how the girls can get along so well together, Rina says it’s because of the respect they have for each other. She also says she’d like SCANDAL to continue doing what they’re now, even 10 years from now on. Tomomi jokes then that they might be mothers perhaps (she does that pregnant thing…) & Haru remarks that that’s just scary. Tomomi just thinks that it’s funny, because imagine playing a bass with a large tummy.

The girls also say they hang out together even in private, and they’d go out and eat together etc. Rina even recommended this pasta-place called “Goemon” located in Shibuya. (Now I really want to go Shibuya & find that shop lol.)

For the week of 20th Feb to 26th Feb, SCANDAL managed to score a #6 position on the Oricon Weekly Singles chart for their ‘HARUKAZE’ single! In total, the girls sold 25,921 copies, higher than the first-week sales of several of their other singles. In comparison: Love Survive: 13,507 Haruka: 21,974 Pride: 16,579

For the week of 20th Feb to 26th Feb, SCANDAL managed to score a #6 position on the Oricon Weekly Singles chart for their ‘HARUKAZE’ single! In total, the girls sold 25,921 copies, higher than the first-week sales of several of their other singles. In comparison:

From 1:45 onwards is the the “making-of” for SCANDAL’s “HARUKAZE” PV. The girls filmed this PV in Yamanashi prefecture (famous tourist spot, esp for the Mt. Fuji) & of course, the girls described what the song is about when interviewed. You’ll also get to check out the sillier side of the girls (mostly Tomo) from behind-the-scenes. ^^
